Amazfit Balance Faces

I just bought the Balance. Nobody is working on faces for it, so I downloaded the maker tool and am trying to familiarize myself with everything.

My main questions are:
1. Is it possible/OK to modify an existing watch face? and
2. What is the best repository for png files?

Since I almost died from a blood clot a few years back I'm really big on having SpO2 data on the face. Ideally, if I could switch out the worthless (for me) PAI for Sp02 on GTR watches and port them, I'd have tons of faces to choose from. It looks like the GTR and the Balance have the same ppi.

1. The amazfit Balance has the same 480x480 screen size as the GTR3pro and uses zepp OS as the operating system.
So there is a possibility To be able to use Sasha's editor.

you may try selecting the model as GTR3pro and create for your watchface

However, the watchface that will be edited must be The dial uses a standard script with no coding, so the editing program can unpack correctly.

2. In this question, do you mean where the png of the watch face is stored? If used, it's in the assets folder in the watch face ( zip ) file.
The image inside is a zeppOS encoded png. If you want to edit the image, you need to unpack it with Sasha's program mentioned in point 1. When you're done, you'll find a normal png image that can be edited with any image editor program.


However, You must perform the test yourself. Since I don't have an Amazfit Balance, I wasn't able to test it.

Or another option, you can use the official tool to create a watch face, but you have to prepare the image resources yourself. Because the official tool can't upload the finished watch face to make corrections

I was trying not t to bug you again, but that's what I meant by png. I was looking for a repository for the image resources I need to make my own faces.

Good information, but the Amazfitwatchfaces app does NOT detect my Balance. I own the GTR 3 Pro, T-Rex 2, and the Zepp Z watches and the app works with ALL of them, but the app does NOT see my Balance so I am unable to install any GTR 3 Pro watch faces onto it. Any suggestions? I've tried adding the MAC address into the app manually and it still doesn't see the watch even tho it is connected just fine to my phone via bluetooth. Thoughts? Does the app need to be updated to add Balance watch support?

When using dials from the GTR 3 Pro, the animation and smooth second hand will most likely not work. The rest of the functions should be identical.

It's strange that AOD shows a greenish tint.
As far as I test that dial on gtr3, the AOD is black.
It is possible that the "Balance" has slightly different color rendering specifications than the GTR in AOD.

Could you please test this dial on "balance"?
This dial is a color test dial, to test whether it displays correctly on "balance" or not.
Please test on normal and AOD

Here are the test dials to check if the colours are correct. One is created in my editor, the other in the official editor. See how they are displayed on AOD.

Strange, I use the application for Android and it doesn't have the option to choose the Balance. It also won't let me sync any watch faces from the GTR 3 Pro for my balance

Could you please enlighten me how you achieved detection? I have 4 Amazfit watches and the Balance is the only one NOT being detected by the AmazFaces app. When you opened the app, what device are you telling it that you are using, since Balance is NOT one of the watches listed in the settings? Are you choosing GTR 3 Pro as the watch? Did you have to enter the MAC address of the watch? I've chosen GTR 3 Pro on 3 different phones (which all work with my other Amazfit watches) and the Balance is the only one not working with the Amazfaces app.

That explains it. You're on iOS. Everyone that is having an issue connecting is using Android.

hi , i bought a Balance too. I have a Google Pixel 7a . the Same Problem , i can choose Balance in the App or GT3 pro , but when Balance is selected it cant bei found . when GT3 pro ist selected i can Transfer but it doesn't Transfers.

You need to wait for the app update, where support for Balance will be added.

is it possible to edit a GTR 3 Pro dial with your tool and let the animation + smooth second hand work on a Balance? I've noticed one of the developers did it and I think he used your tool for it?
