You need to use the Notify for Amazfit app to install any custom watchfaces, not the official Zepp app or anything else.

It seems that the error I have shown is not a directory (folder) problem, but the error is due to the contents of the bin file. This is what it looks like after reading the LOG file to which I previously provided the link.

Anyway, since I made it here is my (slightly modified) version.

That was an issue I had with v0.1 and it was since fixed in v0.2, it had to do with the weekdays progress which is probably parameter 3.

If you are trying to decompile a wf with "hot zone" (shortcuts) like huami calls it you would get a parameter 6 error. I did that and that's what I got.

Stupidly I wasn't using a program as nowadays windows file explorer handles everything I've come across but in this case the zipped folder was showing empty.

It worked as soon as I installed 7-zip.

Does anyone know how to edit the .zip file you get from the huami service when you export from their website?
It is empty in file explorer, I tried changing the extension to .bin and have a go at it with the beta py amazfit tool but that didn't work.

Do you have the correct file 0001.png as preview in all cases set at 306x306 pixels?

Doesn't always work, for me a couple of times when I randomly changed the 19th hex byte I got a message on watch "failed to install" so it's a hit and miss thing. Should be fixed on the developer side so we are sure it's ok...

Worked as expected for a couple of watchfaces on my gtr2e, thank you very much for your time spent @bigdigital.kov!

Had a look at the code, it's not as easy as one might think, mainly due to the differences in gtr2's json file as I perceive it.

I agree with the need for a GUI like @SashaCX75's ...
