Amafit Bip Lite (A1915) problem

Post by bahrizalmulyawan »

Firstly, I m sorry for bad english .i use google translate
Yesterday i decide to replace original bip lite custom firmware into regular bip or normal bip
tried some things, instaling notify nor mi bandage. The usual Bip firmware (1608) worked as expected, everything is fine, but I think whether it will be possible to return it back to the Bip Lite firmware. Besides everything that works, now every application thinks that it is a regular Bip, and MiFit, for example, continues to try to update non-existent A-GPS and GPS. Are there any firmware for A1915 there? I remember that the latest version is 1.1.6.0

I Even contacting amazfit colustomer care for asking rom

I had the same problem. Easy to erroneously flash a Bip firmware onto the Bip Lite, and then original firmware is nowhere to be found with Google. 😱

But, I got lucky and by following advice on the Gadgetbridge wiki I found the OTA firmware for the Bip Lite at:

Code: Select all

/data/data/com.xiaomi.hm.health/files/firmware/42
on my rooted phone.

I found this post from Google, made an account just so I can attach the firmware - hopefully it lets me.
Would probably be a good idea to have this in the firmware catalog... but I didn't see a place to submit?

Hope this helps! (Now someone please give Lite emoji support. 😢)

You have to install the two files that come in the zip or with the finish in ".... baeb037" is enough.
Thank you.

Hi all. I happened to be dropping by. The files in my original zip are fine, I just left the names unchanged. No "conversion" is necessary. If you're using something that requires they have a specific file extension, just rename them.

I just extracted the zip file and renamed the file that is around 460kb and just added .fw at the end. Then I tried flashing it. I got back the bip lite software.😊😊😊
