Incoming Call Alert does not display answer button [Trex 3 pro]

Until very recently, incoming call alerts have always displayed an answer button, a hangup button, and the name or number of who is calling. This allowed me to answer a call and converse until the call was over.

About 4 days ago, the alerts changed to display an X button, the hangup button, and the name or number. The X button appears to close the call alert but not hangup the call. The ring on the phone continues until the call automatically disconnects. The hangup button disconnects the call.

I suspect maybe Amazfit updated my watch, or a setting was changed by my fumble fingers while checking some setting? The watch manual I have is a year old, and some setting directions in the app have changed from what my manual says.

I have yet to go through the list of watch software updates. I have not looked for a current manual.

Any ideas on what I need to do to get the incoming call to display the answer button instead of the X button.??

I updated the watch to version 4.9.4.4. Still get the incoming call notification without an answer button.

I'm not sure about the issue you're having, but from the information you provided, it seems you've only enabled "Incoming call" in the "Phone" section. In this section when there's an incoming call, it have only an "X" icon and a "hang up" icon are displayed on the watch.
If you want to be able to answer calls, you need to switch to the "Bluetooth Calls" section.
In this section, when there's an incoming call, the watch will display the answer/hang up icon as desired.

However, this is just speculation, as I don't have a T-Rex3pro, so I'm not sure if the settings menu on the Zepp app is the same as on BipMax. But I think it probably won't be much different.

Wunderbar!! Thank you so much! I must have ignorantly switched it from Bluetooth to incoming calls. I should have read the "fine print" which clearly states only Bluetooth gives you answer and hangup.
