Promised lunar phase on T-Rex Pro

Post by Nidhoegg »

Does anyone know something about the promised and non-functional feature of showing the lunar (moon) phase on the default or other watch faces with the current firmware of T-Rex Pro? Is it planned to implement the feature in one of the next updates? I mean, for me was it one of the features why I bought this watch.
Best regards

According a response on my email, Amazfit service center told me that they are aware of this bug and that they work on a bug fix for the next firmware release.

Moon phase is finally back again. As promised it works on my watch with firmware 2.0.4.11 as of today!
Great job done, folks!

I was very pleased to see this bug fix mentioned in the recent firmware 2.0.4.11 update. Out of interest, which WF are you using?

I would really like to add moonphase into some WF's but AFAIK there are no details about how the moonphase is implemented in the TrexPro WF.

I am using the default WF on my T-Rex Pro – the only one for now with a working moon phase. On the WF ’machine MOON 47MM’ for T-Rex, there is a wonderfull moon icon. If anyone could do such a WF with a working realistic moon icon - that would be brilliant!

For the T-Rex Pro watchface editor, Weather is located on the edit page / Atmosphere tab, below Activity.

Sasha no longer develops that application so it is not going to get the lunar phase support I think.

It might be possible to manual add the moonphase if an official watchface was unpacked and the json was inspected, but I know of no official unpacked watchfaces.

In case it helps;)
