THE STORY: A 50-YEAR JOURNEY

The idea was born in the mid-1970s in the mind of Nivaldo Paulo, then 12 years old. Observing the emergence of expensive LCD watches, Nivaldo sought a simpler and more accessible solution.
The inspiration came from merging two worlds: the logic of Roman numerals found on Masonic Lodge facades and the immediate visual impact of traffic lights. The concept uses the idea of parallel traffic signals: to the traditional colors (Red, Yellow, and Green), Blue was added to complete the set of four colors representing the Roman numerals used in the clock.
The project remained on paper and in imagination for nearly five decades, waiting for the right technology. The cycle was completed through Open Source software, during the development of the Big Linux distribution, alongside friend Bruno Gonçalves (Big Bruno). What was a childhood dream became a digital reality through the Mi-Create tool and the freedom of open-source code.
