Description
The term 'chakra' comes from the Sanskrit word meaning 'circle', which shows the idea that energy flows through these centres. And while there are many chakras throughout the human body, there are seven main ones, which are aligned along the spine and end at the crown of the head.
At the foundation of our being lies the Muladhara, the Root Chakra, grounding us firmly to the earth like the sturdy trunk of a tree. It is here that we find stability, security, and a profound connection to our primal instincts.
As we ascend, we encounter the Svadhishthana, the Sacral Chakra, a reservoir of creativity and passion that flows like a river of inspiration through our lives. It is within this chakra that we discover the depths of our desires and the boundless potential of our imaginations.
