1). I did not complain (what are you on about!?).
2). Multiple times I have expressed gratitude & asked politely (this forum allows for it).

I do not have auto-brightness turned nor is my setting on maximum brightness (never has been hardly ever).
I did not complain about battery drain; I merely requested for black BG or no animations in the hope that battery-life would be even better. Many of your designs do have black BG.
The fact that people even make requests for some changes is in itself a compliment that they like the design generally.
