Now that's a surprise!
I was wondering what would happen if I'd build a watch face with an optical illusion background.
And although my brain is tricked in seeing spirals (in fact there's four rows of concentric circles), time is actually very legible. Even with the minimalistic set of hands. I took a design cue from the Tudor 'snow flake' hands, known for their legibility. Working!
