描述
The Mandelbrot set. A mathematical fractal monster first shown by B. Mandelbrot at IBM labs. The complexity and sense of this object have been studied since then, noone knows why this kind of mathematical objects with infinite and unpredictable details are lurking in the deeps of the numbers. I studied them in my youth with my very first computers and still keep a deep respect to them and many other fractals, some of them found in everyday life. I can remember it took me weeks in the 80's to render some fractals and print them with dot-impact printers. Nowadays it can even be rendered with your watch in a few seconds. Giant steps have been taken, although not always in the right direction.
The Mandelbrot set deserves at least a themed watchface in my list.
