It sure takes some time to create a watchface but it's possible instead of just having the original ones.
Try searching for one you like and try to play with it a little, even if you just take the background or basics of the watchface and fill it up with info you want, that way you will see you get more feeling for it.
Don't give up buddy, try to keep the fun in creating something
