Zepp store & Alexa problems

My new GTR 3 Pro Alexa function does not work with cell data anymore unless I connect my phone to a WiFi network, The Zepp Store app on the phone doesn't work on Cell data either! My old GTS 2 worked fine. I use my cell phone as a WiFi hotspot for all my devices. If I connect to my wife's hotspot, Alexa and the Zepp Store work just fine for the new watch! Any thoughts? I did uninstall/ reinstall the Zepp app after the problem surfaced, I thought it fixed the issue, but now it's back!
