I would like to buy my son a mechanical watch as he has shown an interest. Of course, he would like a Rolex but as he is only 14 there is no way I am spending anywhere near that sort of money. He will get my Explorer in the (hopefully) distant future.
I know this is a Rolex forum but I also appreciate all the other, non Rolex related watch information that gets shared.
What inexpensive mechanical watch would you good folks recommend?
Open to all suggestions.
Looking forward to your responses.

Dear poster,
For your information: this is not a rolex forum. This site is ment for smartwatches. If i would choose for a mechanical watch i would start off with brands like fossil, pulsar, Casio or tudor. Maybe your 14 year old son likes to try out smartwatches? There are a lot of options what makes it interesting for younger people.
Good luck in search for advise!
Altough real rolex watches are amazing and never to compare with smartwatches!

Are you going to buy a Rolex for your 14 year old son?.. My father used to make me work for a plate on the table for the dinner time after I was 13..
