Cor Midong band issues

Post by thaebich »

I bought a Cor Midong (A1702) with the standard silicon band in February 2018 and have been using it ever since.

Since the 11th of November I have been having issues during normal physical activity with the band disconnecting itself from either end of the body of this smartband - see attached photograph

On the 23rd of November 2018, part of the mounting frame on the Cor Midong body for the clip part of the band broke (see 2nd attached photograph) so now I can no longer just clip it back on - I have had to use tape to stick the clip band to the Cor Midong so I can wear the watch.

Has anybody else had issues with the band on their Cor Midong?

Both ends of the band now "taped" to the smartwatch body so I can use it.

I contacted Amazfit support about arranging a warranty return as the link www.amazfit.com/warranty in the supplied Amazfit User Guide does not work – one ends up at site http://en.amazfit.com/warranty (which is reality is http://en.amazfit.com/) and it doesn't have any warranty details. The response was:
"Please note that we can only return for the purchase on https://us.amazfit.com/shop"
This is the first I was aware I had to purchase from that online shop for warranty to be provided

Is there some other method I should be using to do warranty replacement?

Exactly the same to me. I got two ones, one for my wife an another for me, and both with the body plastic clips broken!!!! So no way to repair except changing the device. Any solution from Huami?
