Side by side comparison Bip / Bip S

Check the image below. Bip to the left, Bip S to the right. Backlight turned off, photo taken in good artificial lighting conditions.
The Bip S is a bit darker and less reflective than the Bip. Harder to see in low light conditions. The difference is not big in this picture, but it gets more obvious when it gets darker.
I'm a bit disappointed, to be honest. I've never had to use the backlight before, not even under dark conditions. I've even designed the WF this way by purpose, so that I wouldn't need the backlight. With the Bip S i have to use the backlight.

I also feel disappointed - the more colors came with the price of a darker display that is also more yellowish so that watchfaces look kind of strange ((
Thought of switching to the GTS but the runtime of the Bip is so great that this is not really an option...

Yeah. I returned the Bip S and am now again using my good ol' Bip.
After trying a few watches, it seems Bip is the one for me after all: Bip => GTR => GTS=> Bip => Bip S => Bip.
