I'm torn between the Amazfit Bip and GTR.!!

I know the GTR has just came out and there are limited reviews, but it just looks freaking sweet. My biggest concern is battery life and if the GTR had terrible battery life I wouldn't even entertain the idea, but supposedly it has great battery life. Not as good as the Bip, but still very good. I really wish it had AOD, but I might be able to let that slide if lift to wake is functional.

My plan is to test run the Bip that will arrive tomorrow and see if it lives up to my expectations and go from there.

Any thoughts.

About the GTR :
The battery life is amazing, I make 14 days [ still 35% before recharge battery it in a little more of 1 Hour ] So 100% to 0% +/- 21 / 22 days
Holidays are finished for me, recharged Sunday when i woke up, don't wear it at work
[ I'm a butcher, 5% battery lost in 3 days, Work time 8H ]
Paired with Galaxy Note 10+ 256Gb [ Snapdragon 855 Imported phone ] Sync of data or watchface are fast, so it's not a problem to have only one watchface to sync to fit my need of the day.

About the screen :
454*454 full Moon [ Totally round ] 1.39 inch AMOLED Display with high 326PPI resolution (retina level) 5ATM water-resistance
The screen si really awesome, small detail are visibles, Black are nice, brightness and the colours are vibrant.


Watchface [2MB] : A Tons of watchface, Dreaming of a watchface not available : Just do it!!!
..:: Nothing to buy ::.. , only time to waste in front of a screen doing it in Photoshop, It's just like a Yoga session for me.

[mention]jeffrey38[/mention] Honnestly I don't know how much battery life you can gain with 10 min detection... maybe 3 days [ I don't know really ] HR detection to 1min // Sleep monitoring is always "ON" , it drain pretty nothing, the things that drains battery [ remember AOD is 0.8% per hour ] is syncing your data [ Push the data from Watch to Phone Watchface // Retrieving data from watch HR // Sleeps // Steps etc... ] and GPS.

Wrist movment is so much better [ Detection is excellent ] Syncing when you wake up // 1PM // 9PM [ look at the spoiler for my battery state and setting use on mine ]

You have the choice to HR detection = 1 per 30 minutes.

In my case, I push watchface till early development stage to final version [ Normally you don't push watchface so often ]
And in my old answer, I've tested the AOD with BT On // HR ans sleep Analysis : On [ 10 hour sleep = 8% to add to my battery ]

Battery remaining after 6 days 76% [ add the 8% of the AOD test while I slept = 84% .... add 4% of Watchface Abnormal push for testing my face in development, I know it's not the "normal" way to use the GTR, I'm very happy with battery life.. and last thing I don't wear it @ work, I'm still at 76% of battery, will sleep with it ]

Today : Sunday Wake up : 75%

Hi Lord, I tryed the black Tachymeter, but i found its making the watch to thick. Altough I ordered a strap to my choice (got like 4 now.. XD)

Your watch is already black.... and you see it without the tachy number everyday ( I really hesitate to buy the black version...
I paste the two version in photoshop, the silver one was a better option for me ).
The first 3 days... it was weird for me too. on the fourth day it was sunny outside.... the weird effect disappear...

I m so happy to have it on the watch.. the watch fall face side on the floor one day in the morning last week

( that was the reason to buy the tachy crown... look at what should be "76" on the tachy... you will see it save the watch... Got to order a new one to replace that and forget my stupid idea )

For the topicstarter: Go for the GTR, its awesome! Keep in mind, the first 2 chargers the battery last a few days, after that it could last weeks. Think its in the calibration. Also switching watchfaces cost extra battery. Overal the battery is perfect.
