Activities indoor CrossFit / upload Strava

Hi,
Could anyone let me know which activities are being uploaded automatically to Strava?

Just tested with run and walk and it works but activities like elliptical, indoor cycling are not being uploaded. Any reason for that?

Btw, which activity do you recommend to use for indoor CrossFit?

running, biking (outdoors) and swimming, only outside GPS based activities
