A digital field instrument with the reassuring clarity of a classic LCD watch. Recessed sage displays, a textured graphite housing and small amber details give Field Unit its tactile, utilitarian character. The large segmented clock is the centrepiece; separate windows keep the weather, pressure, pulse and steps easy to find.
FEATURES
• Large 24-hour time with separate seconds.
• English weekday and date in DD/MM/YY format.
• Weather icon and temperature from the watch's synchronised weather data.
• Atmospheric pressure in hPa, heart rate and step count.
• Curved segmented battery gauge and numerical percentage. The remaining segments turn yellow at 40% and red at 15%.
• Four LCD backlight tints, remembered between uses.
• On-demand GPS coordinate screen with large latitude and longitude values.
• Native always-on time and date on a black background.
TOUCH GUIDE
• ART IST / FIELD UNIT heading: cycle through four LCD tints.
• Weekday or date: open the calendar.
• Large time display or seconds: open alarms.
• Weather / pressure strip: open weather.
• PULSE window: open heart rate.
• STEP window: open activity status.
• Battery gauge / percentage: native battery shortcut (destination depends on firmware).
• NAV map: open GPS coordinates.
• Small coffee cup at the lower left: open the optional support QR code. Scan it with a phone camera; BACK returns to the face.
GPS SCREEN
The main-face topographic map is an illustration, not a live street map or a navigation route. Tap it for real GPS latitude and longitude in WGS-84 decimal degrees. Go outdoors with a clear view of the sky and allow time for a fix. GPS stops after acquiring a valid position, after a 90-second timeout, when leaving the coordinate screen, or when the watch face is paused. REFRESH GPS requests a new fix; BACK returns to the face. No example location is substituted if a fix is unavailable. This is an on-demand position viewer, not continuous route tracking.
NOTES
Designed for the original Amazfit Balance, 480 × 480. Other models have not been tested. Weather requires Zepp weather synchronisation; missing data is shown as unavailable.
