BIP 5 Unity not detected or supported

I just got a Bip 5 Unity after my Trex had issues. Trex worked fine in synching with AmazFaces app.

But Unity isn't being detected.

Please update the app to support this as manual setting of device model is not helpful.

We are aware of this issue and are working on resolving it. The next update will include the ability to download via QR code. Thank you for your patience!

I just bought an Amazfit bip 5 unity as well, so from what I think I understand is that the amazfitwatchface app will not install a selected watchface to my bip 5 unity?

Is it still planned for this to be addressed? I'm having the same issue with my Bip 5 Unity - no way of installing watch faces onto it, it seems.
