Xiaomi Smart Band 7 behavior after the launch of the Smart Band 8

Hi guys!

To those of you still wearing the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, how is its behavior after the launch of the Smart Band 8?

• Back when I was wearing the Mi Band 4 and the Mi Band 5 was launched, an update on the Mi Band 4 drastically reduced it's battery life (from 15-20 days to 2-3 days, from what I remember).

• Back when I was wearing the Mi Band 5 and the Mi Band 6 was launched, an update on the Mi Band 5 broke some of the functions (scheduled screen brightness, as I recall).

I am now considering the Smart Band 7 (I like it more than the Smart Band 8), but I wanted to know how it's behaving now that the Smart Band 8 has been released.

Don't update beyond 2.1.0.1... simple as that. Also, using Gadgetbridge proved much more beneficial for battery life of the band and the phone. Not to mention, privacy.
