Amazfit Watch faces

Detailed instructions for installing custom watch faces on
Amazfit Band 5 and Amazfit X smart bracelets.

Note! At the moment, the instruction is relevant only for Zepp

For a successful installation, you need to connect your gadget to a smartphone on Android with the Zepp app installed. You also need to have installed file manager and pre-download the watch face that you would like to set on your watch.

Installation
ll one of the stock watch faces available in Zepp
(if you have already installed one, you may skip this step).
Open the folder with the downloaded watch face in the file manager with the path: There you will find folders with downloaded stock watch faces.
Go to any of these folders and find the .bin file. Copy the .bin file name.

Name example: Go to the custom watch face and rename it using the name of the standard watch face.
Copy the watch face file with the new name and transfer it to the folder from step 3 with a replacement.
Open the Zepp app and install the stock watch face, which file you replaced.

This method does not work on android 11 and above!

Note! The preview image will not change.

No preview image will most likely not change. But you can try it and share it with us here.

Can someone please provide me the image of watch face which is to be replaced and its folder name ?

Hi osmat ,

I downloaded 5 custom faces from this site and followed the instruction for adding them into Amazfit band 5.
They worked, however when I added 3 they took 3 spaces for custom bands. And I can not delete them, becasue they have no design, just grey backgroud and I can not select them to overwrite. I can not even sync any face from the Shop, becase I have to pick the face to overwrite, but I can not pick any, it is just impossible to made a pick

The default whatch faces are note inside the folder, just the ones i downloaded from the store.

Do you mean in app settings to wipe cache or wipe all data?
If I wipe all data, are my data saved on some cloud? I mean all my measerments (Heart beat, PA1, etc...)

Hola no consigo comprender, pero si conecto mi amazfit x al ordenador no consigo ver el contenido del amazfi X, como en los otros modelos, es necesario algun programa en el ordenador para poder ver el contenido del amazfit X, si me podeis decir alguna pagina web donde pueda ver yo esto en español. gracias

You do not need to see the contents of the watch, all replacement operations need to be done in the application on the phone.

If you want to flash a custom watchface with the iPhone on the Amazfit X you can use the great AmazTools.
Version 1.2.4 of 6.1.2021 should now also work with the Amazfit X. I can't try it myself because I have the beta version. And you know: Never touch a running system!

Under "I need help" you will find an email address.

Amazfit X watchfaces are .png files. Replacing from .bin files is not working.

ΟΚ found it! I had to check all the folders to understand what was going on.
If you don't sync a watchface you get only the .png . I had to sync it first with the clock to download the .bin which then I can replace with one from here.

It does not work for me
replace the .bin and nothing .. you have to disconnect it from bluetooth or something like that, because I did it twice and nothing .. the one you download always loads

Bei mir ging das mit dem installieren ganz leicht. Einfach auf die Datei drücken. Dann steht da, senden an Smartwatch.

Das Problem ist, ich konnte 2 runterladen, aber dann nix mehr. Kan man am Tag nur eine runterladen. Oder hat das damit nix zu tun?

Ich muss noch bis morgen warten, dann weiss ich es eventuell. Dann sind die 24 Stunden um.

Hi, I have iphone with IOS 15. I can download watchfaces for amazfit X but when I try to send watchfaces to amazfit X with AmazTools i have an 0x10 error.
anyone have idea?

I have Samsung with A12 and if i click to connect to amazfit, then said connected and after sync, button disappear and nothing happened. What i do wrong?
