How to install watchfaces (Xiaomi Mi Band 5 / Amazfit Band 5)

Manual installation (Android):
Go to (your device storage): Android > data > com.xiaomi.hm.health > files > watch_skin_file > 59 (this folder creates after you sync any watchface in Mi Fit - may has another name) > YOUR-WF-FOLDER (create new folder - as WF name and put in this folder *.bin file)

Then go to Mi FIt`s watchfaces settings > Administrator (local wf`s) tab and Sync your new Watchface to your Mi Band 5 device!

Another way to install from urieleugenio (Mi Band 4 / Mi Band 5)

I use a PC and Android phone, not just the phone.

In the store WF folders there are 3 files: a BIN file, an infos.xml file, and an image file (watchface preview).
I copy these files to my PC (using OneDrive or data cable).

The infos.xml file contains the WF name. You can right-click and select edit to open the file with WordPad.
Just put the desired WF name by changing the name (marked in bold and underlined below). Then replace the file in the phone folder.

To change the preview image, erase the existing image and place in the folder a PNG image.
Image file name is not importante.

I only tested thin on Mi Band 4 and 5.

Exacto, "You also need to have installed file manager and pre-download the watch face that you would like to set on your watch".
A ideia e colocar a face que queres à semelhança das existentes..
De referir também que em telefones que não são "rooted" nem todos os file managers dão... nesse caso aparece a informação que não podes copiar ... foi por causa dessas situações que fiz root ao telefone.

Instale a app amazfit whats faces no seu celuler android e lá consegue transferir essas watchfaces para no relogio.

in the 2 tutorials that are on the web it says that this method does not work in android 11 onwards and that is not entirely correct because if it is possible, the steps to follow would be:

1.- download any watchface from the "mi fit" app recently (in my case) updated and renamed "Zepp life"

2.- download the watchface of your choice from this web page

3.- install any of these two file manager apps: "explorer" or "File commander"

4.- We go to the location of the downloaded watchface and copy or cut it

5.- We go to this route:

android/data

in this location we will get a privacy notice, we click ok and continue, immediately afterwards a screen similar to this will appear with a message below that says something similar to "use this folder" (sorry not to put it literally but I use my mobile in Spanish ) click there and so we will give you permission to use that
folder and its following to be able to copy and others



we continue to:

com.xiaomi.hm.health/files/watch_skin_file/59

6.- We identify the folder of the watchfaces that we have installed, which is the one we want to modify and we enter and paste the downloaded watchface there.

7.- We copy the name of the original bin and then we rename it to avoid duplication problems

8.- We rename the downloaded watchface with the name of the original

and ready.

It only remains to re-synchronize the watchface again to have the new downloaded appearance

In the current Zepp Life on my Android 11, the faces are stored in /data/data/com.xiaomi.hm.health/files/watch_skin_local/59 which I think can only be accessed if you have root. (Since I have root, it's not a problem for me.)

A ideia e colocar a face que queres à semelhança das existentes.. Gosto de jogar GTA RP no brasil roleplay quando tenho um tempo livre.

Faz sentido, realmente sem root algumas permissões acabam limitando bastante. Bom saber dessa alternativa, valeu por explicar
