Getting stale results with iPhone app.

Post by lawrence-dol »

I am developing a watchface and one significant impediment is that I appear to need to wait for hours after uploading an update before the new file will show in the list to send to the phone. I've tried exiting and restarting the app, as well as rebooting the phone.

There is a noticeable delay when I go to my watchface the first time after a while, which doesn't repeat each time -- this is why I think it's showing cached, stale data. The update shows on this website immediately, and I can tell by the filenames whether the app is showing the most recent update.

Note: This *could* be related to my now having two files, with different color schemes. I don't recall getting this issue when I was deleting the previous file during initial development of the watchface.

We have a caching mechanism. All changes take place within 2 hours.
