Paid whatchfaces in zepp app

Like I sayd in a other post that I was afraid amazfit/zepp is going the way Huawei chose.

Make it harder to apply your self made faces because they don't get stored on the phone any longer but cloud based now so no way to replace it easily inside the wf folder.
Unless you have a cracked app.

Today they started the second part and that is asking money for watchfaces.
I agree some people deserve some kind of thank you for a well made face but the first that is online does cost €2 and in my opinion it's not worth it (see screenshot).

Soon we need a cracked version of the zepp app like they need for self made Huawei watchfaces.
I really hope I am wrong.

Is zepp is screwing up the fan base?
Especially because they we're so proud people made so many faces.

Unfortunately, we have no influence on this, as our catalog is not part of the Huami ecosystem. We thought about ways to introduce monetization so that the authors could earn money on watch faces, but we didn’t have time to do this because the war happened (almost all of our team lives and works in Ukraine). I think Zepp (Huami) decided that they could earn money on watch faces together with the makers (most likely earnings will be in the form of a commission). Well, if this suits the creators of the watch faces ... time will tell.

I know and I am quite sure amazfit/zepp wouldn't let any outsiders run their business because 9 out of 10 times you have to be lucky if they even respond.

My biggest concern is that they will make the app exactly the same like Huawei.
So in the future it might be harder to get the custom wf's on.
Ofcourse there will always be a workaround like a cracked/edited version of the app because in China they run a different kind of app.
The thing that is disappointing in my eyes we also don't get the full potential of the watch but we get more restrictions.
But it's probably all about money like almost everything in this world.

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely not the fault of the Amazfaces team.
I am happy I found you guys and it's the biggest community (outside China) for Amazfit watchfaces and you guys can be proud of that .
I understand things aren't running as you guys would want with this most idiotic war going on.
Like I sayd before I hope all of you stay save and well.
And wish it's all over as soon as possible.

I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on .
And maybe some of the wf makers will get something out of it, if so it's good for them .
I just hope Amazfaces will stay and people will share their work with others to enjoy them .

I Had an update this morning on my t-rex 2 and I bought the watch face fire core, but now it appears that no animation works after the update, all watch face downloaded from the store the animation does not work. At the fire core, only a black spot can be seen in that spot. Hopefully it can be resolved fairly quickly.
