Just to confirm, do you have the original Amazfit T-Rex, or is it another version (such as T-Rex Pro, T-Rex 2, etc.)?
Could you also please check and let us know the firmware version currently installed on your T-Rex watch? You can usually find this in the watch settings, under “About” or “Device Info.”

We have just tested the process and everything is working correctly on our side, so it’s possible your watch might be a different version, or the firmware version may be affecting compatibility.

Please provide your T-Rex model and firmware version, and we’ll do our best to help you resolve this issue.

Please try reinstalling the AmazFaces app. We have tested it and the watch face downloads correctly on our side.

Just to share. I was able to change the face using WFAmazfit app seamlessly which means there is nothing wrong with the Bluetooth or connection with Zepp. Unsure why till now,your app is not working.

We tested on the T-Rex and everything works on our side. However, we’ve noticed some common issues when there are duplicate Bluetooth connections on the phone — especially if there are two or more active connections to the watch.
It would help a lot if you could send us a short screencast showing exactly at which step the issue occurs, so we can pinpoint the cause.

I can also confirm the app version 4.7.402 is not working, I tested with Amazfit Bip on IOs 18.4 and 18.6.1 on 2 diffrent iphone 11 and 15 Pro

I’m also reporting back that with app version 4.7.397 the sync is working on iOS with my Amazfit Bip , I tested on an iPad with iOS 18.6.2 where I still have the previous AmazFaces app version. Also spoted a difference, in the old one at the watch selection page there is “Amazfit Bip” device , in the new version .402 it appears like “ Amazfit Bip/Bip Lite” .

PLEASE release an update to fix this issue !

I can confirm it works now flawless for Amazfit BIP !
But I found same sync issue with Amazfit GTR 47 mm and Xiaomi Miband 4 , please fix them as GTR is my second daily driver and it can only sync one watchface at a time . Thank you !

We have already fixed the loading issue for the Mi Band 4.
For the Amazfit GTR 47 mm, since there are different hardware modifications, we need a bit more information to investigate further. Could you please provide:

The exact model name as it appears via Bluetooth

The firmware version currently installed on your watch

Hello, sorry for late message, I just tested with the new version released 4.7.407 still not working.
The name of the watch in the Bluetooth ios menu is " Amazfit GTR" . Please try to fix for Ios !

Hi! I’m not totally sure I understood what exactly isn’t working.

In which cases does installing via QR code work for you?
And in which cases does it fail? (For example: QR install works, but importing a downloaded file doesn’t? Or neither works?)
Also, T-Rex 3 does not support .bin watch face files, so that would explain why nothing happens when you try to open/import them.
For T-Rex 3, watch faces that often fit/are compatible are from Amazfit Balance, GTR 4, and GTR 3 Pro.
And for Balance 2, because of how the watch faces are packaged, they are usually ZIP files (not .bin).

So got to the site, if a qr code is available I download it to my iPad, then scan it using the amazfit app, and it adds it to my watch.

With packaged ones without a qr code I go to the amazfaces site on my phone , click install watch face, watch advert, make sure Zepp is synced to my watch, then click the synchronise with Zepp and nothing happens.

Do any of the other t-Rex series work with the t-Rex 3? Or just balance, GTR 3 and 4, as that might be where I’m going wrong?

“Packaged ones without a QR code” watch faces that can’t be installed by scanning a QR, so they rely on the AmazFaces Zepp app sync/hand-off method instead.

Could you please record a short screencast (15–30 seconds is enough) showing exactly how you install it in the AmazFaces app and where it stops (from tapping Install watch face Synchronise with Zepp)? That’ll make it obvious what part is failing.

About compatibility: most watches running Zepp OS are compatible starting from models like T-Rex 2 and newer, and many Zepp OS devices work, except some lines like the Active” series. But whether a specific watch face fits also depends on screen resolution.

For T-Rex 3 the resolution is 480×480, so you should pick faces made for that size (or an equivalent device). You can check the official Zepp device list here:

So: other T-Rex faces might work if they match 480×480, but if they’re made for a different resolution, they may not install or display correctly.

So I think this has come about due to me trying to use watch faces that aren’t supported for my T-Rex 3, (my bad) I tried some from the original T-Rex, the GTR 47mm and the GTR 2, so the error in this process has been me, I saw some Bell & Ross watch faces that I wanted and couldn’t install them now not knowing they weren’t compatible, so thanks for the information.
