I was able to add both the sunrise and sunset times during the AOD (always on display) and tweaked the UV, Humidity, and Wind display.

The reason I was trying to edit the code is to remove the distance measure in the AOD (always on display). Then where the distance was located add the sunrise. The goal was to see the sunrise and sunset when the watch goes into the AOD.

Please let me know how to save my edited watch face as a bin file.

I opened an existing watch face using "unpack compressed bin", I was able to add watch hand images and add those watch hands over the digital face, via the edit tab, analog clock tab, and saved it as a new json file.
