here's a link to the manual. as for your showering issue, im guessing you have always on display on? If you do, turn it off, or turn the watch off while your in the shower, or take the watch off before you get in the shower, then put it back on after you get out of the shower.

I was able to make the 1st set of isntructions work on t-rex pro by disabling wifi and mobile data before going to the zepp app to sync the watch face.
