that's not normal at all. if your watch is ok then the problem is with your charger - instead try a very safe output as an usb 2.0 / usb 3.0 from desktop or laptop, these have the cleanest 5V DC current - if the problem persists and the charge time exceeds 80 minutes get back to the seller for a ...
