Amazfit Watch faces

Tool Description


1. The tool is based on a modified version of AmazfitBipTools-1.0.3.1, thanks to the original open source .
2. The tool supports unpacking, packing of the official watch face bin file.
3. Mi band 4 supports more colors.
The official decompression depth is 32, but for 8 only, the color index is 257.
This is a beta version, the feature is not comprehensive, but this version works.

Tutorial

1. Unzip AmazfitBipTools_Mi4.zip and get a bunch of files.
2. Copy the bin file of the official dial in the phone, or use the bin file uploaded by others.

(Note here, the tool may not be compatible with bin files of other watch faces, it is best to use the official A-Trip as the base bin file )

3. Drag the copied bin file to WatchFace.exe in step 1. , get the decompressed file

(if there is only one log file, the decompression failed).

4. There are two ways to modify the dial.
1 - is to modify the corresponding image file and replace it with what we want.
2 - is to modify the corresponding json file and modify the position of the image.

5. After all the modifications are completed, drag the modified json into WatchFace.exe in step 1 to get the corresponding bin file

(the file name depends on the name of the bin. If the .bin file is not generated, the package is wrong)

6. Copy the newly generated bin file to the corresponding directory of the mobile phone, and the synchronization will be completed. (This step is not very clear, you can refer to the original tutorial) above, you're done!

do you have idea how to pack my theme for mi band 4. I used your tool version 0.0.2 - after loading of the theme in to the Mi band here is not information about steps, distance, weather.

Today i tested your last version (1.0.3), however her is not possible pack my theme. Please can you try it and check my Json file.

Hello. Tool always creates a log file. It has the number of straki with an error.
Keep the file ready

Why is not the pulse displayed in the gif ?

Tools is not perfect yet and poorly generates gif files

Did you something with pictures in your upload ? Because if I compare my pictures and pictures in your upload here is different quality.

I loaded your upload of my skin in to the Mi band and here is not week day and weather.

Do you have idea where is problem?

This tool was originally created for bleep. There are restrictions on the number of colors. Because of this, the pictures are clamped

And do you have idea why weather does not work?

The animation is so cool. Could you pls show me how to make an animation like this pikachu one ? I try and can't do it.

does pikachu face work for you? It doesnt show in local faces for me, and yesterday I downloaded nearly 20 mi band faces and only 4 worked for me. The other ones doesnt appear in local faces in mi fit app. Im android user.

If I leave in json file only time and date directive time ad date are correctly showed but if I add Activity directive the date instead of showing day and month number show day name (LUN-MAR-etc) in day number and in day month.
Also I show Pulse and Steps using small fonts but Pulse or Steps are show with a larger font when convert json to bin.

I try many times to fix this watchface but I cant able to do so can anyone help me?

P.S. is there a technical manual about json file directive and how to use and set it?
P.P.S. Is there a way to download the source of AmazFitBipTools_Mi4 so I can try to compile under OS X?

Tools Not yet perfect. In his work there are significant improvements. Try to create additional images for the items you need.

Is there any manual in this community about how to edit json files? I dont know what some variables mean.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
I've been wanting to edit an animated bin file (nyan cat and also the pikachu one) and as I do with the other bins, I replace the images with the ones i want. But my problem is that when I compress the edited items into the new bin file the bin file weights around 1mb when it should be 300kb, its not because i used hq images or anything, cause i also decompress any kind of animated bin and compress it again without changes and ends up around 1mb as well. What's happening? can anyone tell me? pls.

I've created a custom WatchFace with the PlayStation Logo, I have followed the instructions, but after all, in my Mi Band 4 doesn't appear PlayStation Logo, only the black background, Time, Date, etc.
