Creating a watch face that displays a heart rate widget in Always-On Display (AOD) mode isn't difficult. However, I am unsure whether the display will strictly adhere to your custom settings—for instance, if you have configured the device to check your heart rate every 5 minutes, it might not necessarily maintain that frequency while in AOD mode. This is because AOD mode typically limits the power consumption of various functions to extend the watch's operational life.
However, I'm still not sure, as I don't normally use AOD.
If I were to offer a recommendation: if you want to monitor your heart rate while exercising, it is better to select the specific sport from the sports list and use that mode to view your metrics during your workout.
Abotu Request Watchface
If you would like to request a custom watch face, it is recommended that you:
Briefly outline the details of what you want included in the design,
or provide a sample image to demonstrate your desired layout.
I suggest posting your request in the "Watchfaces creation (order table)" forum for the specific device.
