Amazfit Watch faces

Hello everybody,

I would like to know where does GTR 4 get the weather info from, if it is not connected to the phone ?
I see that the temperature and weather are shown and the indications are even precise enough.

As far as I know and I read on the official website, GTR 4 has no temperature sensor, just barometric sensor.

The weather info comes from the phone. There is no other way. In addition, your phone must be connected to the internet. The temperature sensor only gets the temperature of the surrounding environment but not the actual weather (for watches with temperature sensor such as the balance).

Yes, indeed.
However, I have the temperature and weather on the screen but the watch has all the connections set to OFF.
The phone also has bluetooth set to OFF.

Actually the infos are available for 5 days since the last watch-phone connection...this is why you still can see the infos after the watch has been disconnected from the phone.

what's the forecast weather provider for our amazfit balance?

The Zepp app request the weather data from it's own backend (a REST API), wich itself gets its weather data from Xiaomi.

Xiaomi has a weather service/app wich aggregates weather info from different sources worldwide wich are not disclosed. This is why sometimes the phone and your watch show slightly different weather data.
