Amazfit Watch faces

I suspect this might have to to with the encryption techniques used and the ZeppOS version but I haven't been able to get any of the GTR4 watchfaces from Horn to work.
Strangely, they were fine on my TRex2.
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get them working? Maybe decompiling into plain old ZeppOS is the key.

I just get a black screen. I can do the long press and see a thumbnail of the watch but that's about it.

Yes, after the watch face install in my GTR4, the screen is become black too...
I remember I have install 2 of the watchface before in my GTR4 and it function good while the watch is in Zepp OS 2.1, those watch face is under the below link.

Looks like his watch faces stopped working on Balance as well.

I've faced similar issues with HORN watch faces on my GTR4 too. It seems like a compatibility problem with the current ZeppOS version. Maybe decompiling or tweaking the watch faces could help? Has anyone tried a workaround yet?

I can confirm that his faces do not work with the latest Zeppos. Additionally, having the files encrypted does not help either.

Just an update that I reached out to Lars (Horn) to see if he would look at the watchfaces that no longer work. He said he was open to doing custom changes to existing watchfaces, so we'll see.

Any news from Horn? I would love to be able to install the ressence watchface, it is such a work of art

He said he doesn't have access to newer Amazfit devices and little time to update them, unfortunately.

He tried to protect his watch faces from copying as much as possible and used undocumented features to do so. But it looks like he overdid it and it doesn't work in new firmware.

I'd send him the new amazfit active 2 to try out (all the other GTR4 faces work on this one too), if I get a watchface like that on my watch in return. I just love that one so much
