Unable to install analog watchfaces gts 4

Wasnt sure where to post, but I followed the installation instructions to a T - notifications on, making sure its synced, reset BT and phone/watch, reconnect, etc.
nothing seems to work, and i tried all installation methods. i tried a random digital watchface and it worked, but nothing else seems to.
what is the workaround, as i really like the available analog watchfaces
edit: i tried manually downloading the files and installing but it didnt work.
where is the visibility on in the zepp app, is it the discoverable option? because i selected it too
