GTR 3 Pro uses zip watch face format.

I think that it would look better if the black ring was gone. I have attached a picture. It would be really great if that could be changed.

Impossible . The black border you mentioned is , border of watch face glass of your watch.
if you want same the you show , you must to modify your watch face glass of your watch , The watchface image can not do it.
