Amazfit Watch faces

Hi, I managed to use some tools from here and there to unpack existing Watchfaces, and modify them (even building from early scratch with my own graphic resources), and the repack again into bin and setup in the device.

But I found some issues, I am starting to think as limitations from this device.
Can anyone give a hand?

- Size limit of the resulting bin: I made some design and changes with "GTS-watchface-bundle.zip" and sucessfully installed. But, after adding some more elements and images, the resulting .bin got quite big (up to 1.5MB) and the installing process was failing. Luckilly, using "GTS Watchface Tools" from ilgruppotester, the packed bin for the same WF was smaller enough to be installed (less than 400KB).

Is there any known limitation on the bin size, or how many elements can we put inside the watchface?

- Available data to show: I was adding some data to an existing WF. I was only sucessfull for some of them, but others seem not to work.

Working items are: time (both digits, or dial), day, weekday, monthname, steps count, distance, heartBeats, callories, status (BT, DND, lock, alarm), battery, weather icon, current temperature, and also I shaw hese itmes on multiple WFs with numbers, bars, images, circles...

Not working items seems to be:
- Max & Min temperatures for today: unable to make work Weather-Today-Separate-Day/Night scheme workin gon other amazfit watches (eg. bip). I can see this data shown on the out-of-the-box screen, so the watch has access to these data, but I have not seen these on anay other custom watchface. Is it possible at all?

Is there any guide/specifications doc with instruction on available items on json?

Unavailable items for me:
I can also see humidity, pressure and altitude shown on the standard GTS screens. Are they available to show on WFs? how?
IS it possible to insert widgets or variable itmes like on the first 2 sout of the box screens?

Let me update on this topic:

Just testing by comparison with watchfaces for other watches, I found that the separate max7Min (day/night) temperature is actually shown if you do not intend to use the "current temperature".
So, you can either show current or day/night temperature, but not both of them at teh same time.
Even the Bip can do that, but not it seems not the GTS.

Would it be a Bug?

I'm in the same boat as you, go buy an amazfit device because there is a great community they said, honestly is better to buy a device with better developer support than a great community. Until now I've tried the same steps as you, my main goal was to create a watch face with very large weather icons, but items aren't displayed - like minus and degree symbol for current weather, also for analog watch faces it doesn't show the analog watch hands. The only correlation that I was able to find was related to uncompressed bin size. So anytime my bin size was above 1.5MB before compression some elemenets on the watch wouldn't show up. The bigger the size and more stuff would break and not show up. I've accidently pushed a large bin file, above 400kb compressed, uncompressed was around 6MB, and it put my GTS in a boot loop.

You should try the tools here - viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1076&start=10 are better at live preview and json editing, also there is a fork that alows you to unpack all watch faces.

Having the same issue...
trying to go for a large watchface, plus some complications (weather, date, battery, steps) - the convenient WF editor tells me upon packing, that it exceeds 1.5MB
So I will try to find that other tool as you suggested to bring the size down
