Can't connect Amazfit Bip to the app

I got an Amazfit Bip for christmas, but I can't connect it to the app. It always finds the watch, I press the green tick to pair and it just fails. No matter what I do it always does that and it's the same in MiFit and Amazfit apps. The wierd thing is, that it pairs perfectly with Gatget Bridge. How can I fix this? Or at least, how can I get a new watchface when the official app is broken?
