Amazfit Watch faces

Detailed instructions for installing custom watch faces on Amazfit GTR, GTS, T-Rex, Verge Lite, Amazfit Bip smartwatches, and Cor and Mi Band 4 smart bracelets.

Note! At the moment, the instruction is relevant only for Zepp (Amazfit)

For a successful installation, you need to connect your gadget to a smartphone on Android or IOS with the Amazfit (Zepp) app installed. You also need to have installed file manager and pre-download the watch face that you would like to set on your watch.

Installation for Android

1. First, you need to install one of the stock watch faces available in Zepp (Amazfit)/Mifit (if you have already installed one, you may skip this step).
2. Open the folder with the downloaded watch face in the file manager with the path:
   • Zepp (Amazfit) /Android/data/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/files/watch_skin_local/
   • Mi Fit /Android/data/com.xiaomi.hm.health/files/watch_skin_local/
   There you will find folders with downloaded stock watch faces.
3. Go to any of these folders and find the .bin file. Copy the .bin file name.
   • Name example for bin: 4lIYUjzg3Vwqt8tJU9sYLeOSqUSAreJNzUxJhxgM.bin
   • Name example for zip: UQkNrGEQmaPvYbLmGseWkOkUCHDDkOBf.zip
4. Go to the custom watch face and rename it using the name of the standard watch face.
5. Copy the watch face file with the new name and transfer it to the folder from step 3 with a replacement.
6. Open the Zepp (Amazfit)/Mifit app and install the stock watch face, which file you replaced.

This method does not work on android 11 and above!

Note! The preview image will not change.

On my OnePlus 7T Pro with Android 11 I actually still do have that folder and therefore can upload watchfaces in the old way... Unfortunately the app doesn't seem to support it when it detects Android 11.

There is no gear icon next to the download button anymore. And sending the watchface using the app is way too slow. So now I use the 'pc method' again. GIK-Team can you please enable the file-transfer-method like on Android 10 but for Android 11. Because some people like me do still have acces the / Android / data / folder. This method is way faster compared to the wireless transfer method.

But the Android Zepp app doesn't change the ICON, so If I have a couple of faces switched out, I can't see or remember which ones I've swiched and therefore it's quite useless.

It's the same for me. There is no way to select the option to replace the original watchface. The option just isn't there....

Edit:
After the update the old method is back again (2: fast) but still, the app doesn't see the installed original watchface and therefore can't use option 2. Also after the update the amazfitwatchfaces app doesn't seem to be able to discover the watch anymore. The synchronization within the Zepp app works without any issues

Edit 2:
After updating the app today the watch can be discovered again but it won't transfer the watchfaces to my gtr. Neither the slow (1) or the fast (2) methods work.

Hi Friends, after I upgrade my phone to android 11, the app can not replace original faces from Zepp app.
The folder where use to be the the original faces in Zepp app in empty, nothing at all on it.
So, amazfitwatchfaces app can not find original faces to replace.
I didn´t find yet the new location where Zepp app is downloding the original faces.
Any solution for this issue???

I am unable to replace the face in Amazfit Bip Lite, Android 11. Tried putting bin file in watch_skin_local folder but I dont see that in the app.

Seems that this method cannot install a custom WF at least to Amazfit BIP. May be Amazfit has changed their protocol. Now you have to submit 3 files in to Mi Fit local skin folder. BIN, GIF (optional) and infos.xml files. The XML file is required to show up the WF on MiFit. I have made a step by step procedure to install BIP watch faces on Mi Fit. I was able to make the 1st set of isntructions work on t-rex pro by disabling wifi and mobile data before going to the zepp app to sync the watch face.

It's because of restrictions imposed in Android 11. Apps are permitted to see only their own folders and not of those of other apps.
So, DATA folder looks like empty, but is not empty.
You can install "Files" app from Play store, it´s free, and you can browse into DATA folder and see all files on it, anyway doesn´t fix amazfitwatchfaces problem, but you can replace bin files manually.

Hi when i install wach face whit amaztool and reboot my watch (t rex pro) the watch face disappear.

Any Solutions?

I used the GTS Watch Face Editor v10.0 by SashaCX75 and successfully created a bin file (I did get a warning that the file was over 1.5mb, I suspect because of the large unnecessary gif previews?). I followed the Android instructions and was met with "Couldn't sync, try again"

Has something recently changed? Should I be using a different compiler?

method is similar: you have to sync a new face from the store in the Zepp app, but when it asks you to replace an old one abort the operation...
next, proceed to /Android/data/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/files/watch_skin_local/69 on your device and locate the new folder, replace its contents with the custom face as told in the main thread, return to the Zepp app and finalize the syncing...

Will anyone know when it will be able to do this in Android 11? I can't change for any of the ones in the catalog

Hi! Can someone help me to install watchfaces for mi band 6, iOS? Didn't find any topic about it.. ;(

Already have the Amazfit (it doesnt show mi band 6 option - only until 5) and Mi Fit apps, download some watchfaces - but it when I tryed to install one app doesnt connect to each other.

So theres no way to install on Android 11? Do I have to keep those ugly stock watchfaces? *sigh*

As of today, I noticed that it is no longer possible to install watchface using this method. The same goes from the T-Rex-rex WF Android app. Amafit t-rex.

Download your watch face from AmazFaces

Click on the box with the arrow to send the file

Choose Amaztools

Then install the file EASY
